As a Worldpay Partner, you can reduce your support overhead by managing MFA resets for your Merchants directly within your Partner Dashboard. If you find that the "Reset MFA" button is missing or greyed out for your sub-accounts, you likely need to update your administrative role permissions.
How to Check Your Permissions
Log in to the Partner Portal.
Navigate to Account Management > Users.
Select your own profile and scroll to the "Permissions Matrix."
Look for the entry labeled "Merchant MFA: Reset/Edit." If this is set to "Disabled," you will not be able to assist your merchants with login issues.
Steps to Enable Self-Service If you are the Master Admin for your Partner account:
Click "Edit Role" on your profile.
Toggle the "MFA Delegated Admin" switch to ON.
Click "Save Changes."
Log out and log back in for the changes to take effect.
Benefits of Delegated Management By enabling this role, your internal support team can resolve merchant lockouts in under 30 seconds, eliminating the need to submit a ticket to Worldpay Support for every reset request.
Integration Note for Developers If you are using the Payrix API to build your own custom dashboard, ensure your API Key has the mfa_admin_write scope enabled in your developer console.
